As individuals, we were designed to create. As a collective, we try to create & sell together! We try to promote small business endeavors that provide economic development & expand skills while deepening relationships, right here in our home.

In our local community of Mae Sot, our neighbors sell fresh flowers & homemade bread weekly–-Flour & Flowers. This allows us to connect with four mothers in the community and provide additional income to their families weekly, in addition to an annual savings plan. If you live in the Mae Sot area and would like to make a Flour & Flowers order, you can click here for more information.

As another small business endeavor, Stephen has trained three young adults in the community to run live sound. We have a complete sound system available for hire, including trained technicians to set up and run sound, for local events or live recordings. If you’re in the area and would like to hire The Reinforcers for an upcoming event, please submit a booking request. To learn more about this great project, visit this page.

We also have a small sewing project with two women sewing regularly in our home. By connecting them to regular sales opportunities and new projects, we can continue to build relationships while we expand our skills and capacity. Recently, we have been working on re-usable canvas bags that can be personalized with a company or school logo. If you’re interested in making an order with us, please contact us at thespurlocks@thehousecollective.org.

We are so thankful to see our friends thriving in new skills as we create together.
